Thank you

Thank you for everybody who was involved in the campaign and for those who supported me over the past 32 years, it has been the greatest honour of my life to serve this community.

Unfortunately, I was not re-elected as MP for Bermondsey and Old Southwark in the general election on 7th May. This means that I am no longer able to help in the way I have done previously.

If you have an existing case with my office and you would like me to pass your file on to your new MP, please inform me and I will do so. If you have a problem which is related to the council, I am happy to pass on your concerns to a Liberal Democrat councillor, or to the Chief Executive of the council if you live in an area which does not have Liberal Democrat councillors.

I will continue to pass on any new information I receive about individual cases to those concerned.

Thank you for your support over the last 32 years. It has been a great privilege to serve as your MP.

Thank you and best wishes.

Simon Hughes
