Reform stop and search to rebuild trust

In my role as Minister of State for Justice and Civil Liberties, I recently talked to the Yorkshire Post in order to announce proposals to overhaul "stop and search", something that is particularly important for London and our constituency of Bermondsey and Old Southwark.  

We want to help transform community relations and the public’s trust in the police through tightening the laws on stop and search, and requiring some police officers to wear body cameras when they stop someone.
