Satisfaction in the National Health Service has only been higher once before since the British Social Attitudes survey began, in 1983.
65 per cent of people are now satisfied with the NHS, compared to 60% last year.
The number of people who are dissatisfied with the NHS is also at its lowest ever levels, down to just 15 per cent. This means that NET satisfaction is also at its second highest level since 1983, too.
